Relation Between Keppra and Metabolisim07/21/2010 |
I am taking Keppra 1000 mgs twice a day and it seems ive put on a significant amount of weight since starting it, can you tell me if Keppra Slows a persons Metabolisim? ive put all this weight on in under two years i also take lamictal 600 mg daily would either of these have an effect on my metabolism?
Keppra or Lamitcal have no effect on body weight. Studies show they are weight neutral. Other seizure medications (such as Depakote) may cause weight gain.
