Bosniak Type III Cyst07/22/2010 |
My ultrasound showed an atypical cyst with thickened irregular septations and some tiny microcalcifications measuring around 6.5 x5.3 x3.9 cm in dimension. I am an otherwise healthy 58 year old female. Would you recommend either simple watching, MRI or excision. If excision, can they simply remove the cyst or do they have to remove the whole kidney?
I would probably get an MRI for firther clarification.
