Double Vision08/25/2010 |
I have double vision. The 6th nerve. They believe this is due to my having diabetes. Does this alway go away and How long will it take to go away? Thank-you
Thank you for visiting NetWellness. Double vision due to a sixth cranial nerve palsy may go away as long as the underlying condition (i.e. diabetes) is properly managed and controlled. The double vision may persist for several months, but if symptoms persist, there are a number of treatment options available. These treatment options may include incorporating prism in a pair of spectacle lenses or possibly even surgery to help alleviate symptoms.
