I recently got new lenses for my trifocals. When I look through the bottom (the reading portion) I see a colored light reflection. It is extremely distracting. I did not have this problem with my other lenses. What might account for this? I will speak to my optometrist about this, but I wanted to get some opinion that I could take to her. I don`t want her to think I`m nuts. :)
It is not uncommon for reflections from the front surface, back surface, or edges of spectacle lenses to occur and to trouble patients in some situations. Try to document when and where it occurs, i.e., all the time, under certain lights. It is possible that your optometrist may see the reflection too. Good luck.
