Mandibular Tori Surgery

10/01/2010

Question:

I have mandibular tori in my lower jaw. They are VERY large and seem to be growing and you can now see them bulge through my face. I am 60. They don`t bother me otherwise. I am reluctant to have them surgically removed. Will they get larger? Should I have them removed now before I get older? What are the risks and what is the recovery like?
