Avoiding Gum Disease
What is the best way to take care of my gums?
1- Home care (daily brushing with a soft brush and using correct technique thay would allow you brush your gum line. This should be done at least twice a day. In addition, daily flossing one or twice a day is really important).
2- Routine dental check-ups (visit your dentist every 6 months for routine check-up not only for carries but also for evaluation of your gingiva and underlying bone support).
3- Any changes in your general health, new medications etc may have an effect on your gums. Thus, you should inform your dentist when you have new systemic health issues, medications etc.
