Whitening

09/28/2010

Question:

I am considering whitening my teeth-- does something cosmetic like that have any negative implications on teeth over the long-run?

Answer:

Long-term studies have proven whitening to be safe and effective. Short-term implications are gum irritation and tooth sensitivity but these go away once whitening has stopped.
