Pain inside the Middle of My Knee

Question:

1. i started learing how to drive a truck, i use my left knee to push down the clutch,after a while i feel pain like behind the kneecap..it goes away after i stop driving. 2. When im working out using a leg press, ill push on the machine with my legs and u can hear like crackleing noise and after a few reps the pain will come again from behind the knee cap 3. Every so often it will feel like my left knee loses stability
