Nuc Med Hida Scan with Stomach Reflux10/25/2010 |
On a nuclear medicine hida scan, if you see a large amount of tracer in the stomach, what causes this condition and what is the remedy?
The nuclear medicine HIDA scan is actually used more to obtain information on how well the gallbladder contracts and if there is a problem with it's contraction due to different reasons. There are better tests to evaluate acid reflux.
