Hi, I wonder if pregnant women`s urine can cause bad effect on the environment as the estrogen in the contraceptive pill. I have read about the effect of the birth control pill when disposed into the water but I wonder if the estrogen in urine of a pregnant women does the same thing to the environment.

Very interesting question! Estrogen & progestin levels in women on oral contraceptives are actually much lower than in fertile women. The impact on the environment should be minimal.
