Sarcoidosis |

I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis last spring - thank God it was not Lymphoma! The first symptom that I noticed was swelling in my ankles and legs and joint pain. I have reciently had a lot of knee pain - do you think this is associated with Sarcoidosis?
The symptoms of joint swelling and pain that you are presented with are not uncommon with sarcoidosis. Joint involvement is estimated to occur in up to 25% of sarcoidosis patients. That being said, other possible explanations should be considered by your doctor.
