Lump on Newborn`s Neck11/29/2010 |
My baby is almost two weeks old. I found about a grape sized lump on his neck muscle in the front. It`s only on one side and is not tender to the touch. It`s hard but it doesn`t move around. I found it a couple days ago and t hasn`t changed in size or feel. In every other way he seems to be doing great. I`m not sure if I should be nervous or just wait till his two week doctors appt to deal with it. Thanks!
While this could be as simple as a lymph node, I would recommend contacting your pediatric health care professional just to be sure.
