Microalbumin Creatinine Ratio12/08/2010 |
My father is 76, diabetic and has a creatinine level of 3.17 and a microalbumin creatinine ratio of 4592. I see that the reference range for the ratio is zero to 30 so I am very concerned. Is he nearing kidney failure?
He has kidney failure and will soon need dialysis. He should be followed by nephrologist very closely to see if his kidney functioned could be stabilized.
