Pharmacy and Medications

Cosmetic Products without Expiration Date

Hi there, I wonder how to recognize if one cosmetic product is still good for usage or not, as most cosmetic products have no expiration date at all. Only the duration for which the product is still good for usage (i.e: 24 months after opening...) is indicated on the bottle.

Some creams and lotions will begin to separate after a year or two. Another big problem with cosmetics is that they can become contaminated with repeated use especially if they are applied with the fingers. For these types of products replacing them every 6 to 12 months is a good idea.
