My mother`s period has stopped for a year now, but recently she has started to get occasional spots of bleeding when she goes to the toilet. Is this anything to worry about?
There may be several possible sources for the bleeding, including irritation of dry skin tissue with toilet paper, but if the bleeding is coming from the vagina, she should probably be seen by her gynecologist to determine the exact source.
