Ffrequency of Pneumonia Vaccine

I received a pneumovax shot in March 2010 from my allergist. Not understanding it was the pneumonia shot, I got another pneumonia shot in October at a walk in clinic. Did I cause any harm to myself? What are the reprecussions?

Usually we don't give a second dose of pneumonia shot that soon because: 1) we don't need to (antibody levels last longer) and 2) if you get a second dose of the pneumonia vaccine within less than 5 years there is a small increased risk of localized reaction or side effect from the shot.

But if you already had the second shot by mistake and didn't have any skin reaction or problems, you shouldn't have any long-term side effects from the two doses.
