when i walk my knee pops and it hurts what can i do about it
If you've not already done so, you should first be evaluated by your primary care physician who can take a medical history, perform a physical examination, and if necessary, perform imaging studies to determine a proper diagnosis, upon which an appropriate treatment plan needs to be based.
Knee popping and pain symptoms can have a number of possible causes, including problems with your kneecap (patella) properly "tracking" or staying in its groove, a thickened fold of tissue within the knee called a plica, degenerative changes (arthritis) involving the knee joint surfaces, a torn cartilage (meniscus), or a loose tissue fragment (composed of cartilage/bone).
