Please tell me how long it takes for a lung to be in the end stage of disease. My husband has been diagnosed with bullous, emphysema bleb? ie, 3 years, 4
People can live for many years after being diagnosed with bullous emphysema. Without knowing his lung function parameters and functional capacity it would be hard for us to tell you the stage of his lung disease, but his lung specialist would be able to answer your question.
