Can Enaretic(Enalapril 10mg+ Hydrochlorothiazide 25mg)be used for diabetic patients? if yes or no, why?
Medications like enalapril, called ACE inhibitors, can and should be used for diabetic patients. This class of medication has been shown to improve long-term benefits on the affect that diabetes can have on the kidneys. Assuming that a patient’s kidneys are working adequately, this class of medication should be the first-line for treating high blood pressure in a diabetic patient.
