Does nicotine effect the ability to want or have sex in a male or female?
The number one cause of erectile dysfunction is cigarette smoking. Smoking also causes depression, which lowers libido (sex drive) in both men and women. When smoking patients ask for Viagra or a similar drug, I sometimes ask them: "Which do you want to give up, smoking or sex?"
