Mammogram05/26/2011 |
I went for a mammogram and was sent for another. They told me they saw something. I had an ultra sound which showed nothing. Now they want to see me every 6 months for a year at least. Why?
It really depends on what was seen on the mammogram. Sometimes minor abnormalities that are not likely to be cancer are just followed over time.
