Risk of Pneumothorax during Surgery02/22/2011 |
my husband is undergoing surgery for removal of lymph nodes under his arm pit. He also has been diagnosed with mild bibasilar atelectasis. Is there a risk of pneumothorax during surgery due to the BA condition?
The risk of pneumothorax from surgery would not be increased by atelectasis.
