Hi, I wonder whether Pholcodine is safe for pregnancy as I have 2 sources that mention the controversial safety during pregnancy: according Australian source (innovate pharmaceutical), it is safe (pregnancy category A) but from British sources, it is pregnancy category C. What is really the pregnancy status of this medicine?
This cough suppressant is safe to use occasionally during pregnancy. It can be habit forming if used on a daily basis.
