Right Rib Pain04/05/2011 |
i had a cat scan done due to sharp rib pain on the right side they found a 0.2cm density in the right upper lobe image possible calcified should i be worried the pain is so bad that it buckles me over in pain i have lupus SLE and have had pleusy in the past but i am also a smoker and cancer runs very high in my family.
It would be very unlikely that the density was causing the pain. However, because of your history of smoking, your physician may want to get a follow up CT scan in the future. You should talk to your doctor about this.
