Extreme Pain in the Roof of My Mouth03/29/2011 |
Over the past couple days the roof of my mouth has had an extreme pain. It woke me up last night and i couldnt fall back asleep through the hole night. I had a toothache about a month ago that was painful for a couple of days. I woke up this morning and my lips and hole face were numb. I went to the er and they said it was my tooth and gave me anti biotics but they dont seem to help.
If you know that you have a bad tooth on the top that is most likely the cause. Antibiotics can take 2-4 days to really help, but it is temporary. As long as the bad tooth or nerve is there, it will be a problem again. I would see a dentist as soon as you can.
