04/05/2011

Question:

After my hysterectomy, I was not given estrogen until 2 1/2 years later.

Q: Could this be a result of developing fibromyalgia?

Answer:

The causes of fibromyalgia are unknown, but not taking estrogen after a hysterectomy is highly unlikely to be associated with it.
