Rosacea / Systematic Lupus and Sun Protection06/30/2011 |
I have both rosacea and systemic lupus. The sun is not my friend. Short of never going outside ~ what would you recommend in terms of sun screen? Are there other protective measures I should consider? Thanks in advance for your time!
You can go outside but you must work hard to avoid sun exposure. Stay in the shade as much as possible. You want to use a sunscreen that has an SPF of 30 or more and both UVB as well as UVA protection. Clothing with UV protection in it also is another option.
