Neck "Bulges" When Stressed
I was talking with a friend today who remarked that when I`m talking about stressful topics, the side of my neck "bulges" (her word). She told me I should get this checked out by my dr. right away. (She is the wife of a doctor.)
It is really hard to know exactly what this is without seeing it. It?s not uncommon for the neck muscles to become tense during stressful times, but I am unsure from your description if it is both sides or just one side of your neck that bulges. This would be a good time to follow the advice of your friend, even if she isn?t a doctor.
