I have been having a brown, gel-like spotting for a week and a half now. I am due to get my period in a couple of days, but I am very worried that this spotting has been going on for some time and I`ve never had it before. I have gotten two HPV shots and am up for the third one, but my boyfriend and I started having sex without condoms before I started the Gardisil.

Usually for CIN 3, also known as cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 3, a large biopsy of the cervix is taken to remove the abnormal cells and the surrounding tissue. Treatment of the cervix with a LEEP or cone biopsy is the usual treatment of choice. A cone shaped biopsy of tissue is removed from the cervix.

Then this month about two days before My cycle was supposed to start there was A SLIGHT PINKISH color on the tiolet paper andit seemed like I was just going to start early. The next day it got heavier then normal, bright red, noticable clotting, and an odor that is completely different than normal. If the pregnancy test is negative and your cycle does not resume its normal schedule, you should see your health care provider.

The past month and a half or so I have had some abnormal bleeding and discharge.

Missing pills or taking them on an erratic schedule is the most common reason for irregular bleeding.
If the irregular bleeding persists after you have initiated a new pack of pills, you should follow-up with the provider who prescribed the pills.

My gynecologist`s office told me I should be off my birth control for at least 3 months before trying to get pregnant.
I looked it up, and there are no claims that getting pregnant while on birth control can cause birth defects - so what`s the deal? This is why most gynecologists suggest discontinuing hormonal contraception a few months prior to planning pregnancy.

The past two periods that I have had since being off the pill, I have noticed some spotting(brownish) 2-3 days before the actual period begins. I did ovulate(confirmed through BBT charting, and my luteal phase was 12 days long, with spotting starting on the 10 day this last time). I was on the pill for 9 years, and before starting the pills, I didn`t have any premenstrual spotting of any kind.

Now since I am a virgin and he is NOT I am a little clueless. I am Not on birthcontrol because I am not sexually active and we didn`t use a condom, my last period was on May 27 or 28 and since I am now several days late I took a pregnancy test on June 29, it came back negative. Additionally, if your partner has been sexually active with others, he should have screening for sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.

I am 29 yrs old, have had 2 kids, a normal pap in April 2008. I have switched to Ortho tri lo 15 days ago, and have now been bleeding heavily for 6 days, accompanied by cramps and pain in lower back, and am not scheduled to being menstruation for another 2 weeks. The bleeding is most likely related to the change in pill formulation.

After having my daughter and going off birthcontrol my cycles continued being relatively normal, but this month I have been lightly bleeding for two weeks. I am not on birth control and am wondering if I need to take a pregnancy test or see a doctor? Persistent bleeding in early pregnancy can sometimes indicate an abnormal pregnancy.
