David J Hart, MD

Dr. Hart was born and raised on the West Coast. He graduated cum laude with a degree in Molecular Biology from Pomona College, then was a Fulbright scholar doing genetic research in a laboratory in Japan. He returned to attend medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA and graduated with honors. He then completed a surgical internship and residency in Neurological Surgery at the Los Angeles County and University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Hart also completed a combined orthopedic and neurosurgical complex spine surgery fellowship at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah before coming to join the attending staff as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Case Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. He is the Director of Neurosurgical Spine at Case, and specializes in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery in addition to treating a full range of surgical spinal disorders.
