Rosemary Leeming, MD, FACS

Dr. Rosemary Leeming received her MD from Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital in Philadelphia, PA in 1983. She completed a residency in general surgery at Mt. Sinai Hospital of Cleveland in 1989. Dr. Leeming then completed a fellowship in Diseases of the Breast at the University of Pittsburgh and Shadyside Hospital under the direction of Drs. Bernard and Edwin Fisher.

Dr. Leeming was in private practice in Cleveland, Ohio from 1990 until January 2001, when she joined University Hospitals of Cleveland as the Medical Director of the University Hospitals Chagrin Highlands Breast Center. She is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Case Western Reserve University. Her practice is limited to Diseases of the Breast and Breast Surgery.

Dr. Leeming is the Principal Investigator for the NSABP treatment and prevention trials at University Hospitals, Case Medical Center. Her research interests include breast cancer prevention and breast cancer genetics. She is a member of numerous professional organizations and has lectured extensively.
