Omega-3 Oil and Flax Seed

02/08/2008

Question:

Is flax seed a good source of omega-3 oils? I have read that flax seed contains a lot of omega-3 oils, but that it does not contain the type of omega-3 that humans need. Could you elaborate on the type and amount of omega-3 oil that people need and list some good sources? Thank you.
