im a 25 year old women who had a child in july 2005 and ever since i have a serious problems with bowel movements.sometimes i don`t have one for days and then their are times when i go there is bright red blood in the water and stool.i have pain in my pelvic area quite often but i just thought it had to do with having had a c-section.i was also on the depo shot from sept.2005 till march 2007 and am just starting to get my period back but it is just spotting.please help any information would be helpful.

The first order of business is to determine the site of the bleeding. Common things being common, it is most likely from an anal fissure or irritated internal hemorrhoid; see your proctologist or colorectal surgeon for a thorough exam. If neither is seen, they may recommend additional testing to find the source.
