I`m taking:

-Ambien -Neurontin -Xanax -Paxil -Lamictal

*All taken at `high` doses and yet, unfortunately, absolutely required to control a serious medical condition.

I realize that there are likely unresearched/unknown potentially synergistic interactions among these medications. Any insights, though, as to whether pregnancy may be a realistic option under these conditions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Answer:

There is a small increased risk of birth defects with this group of drugs. Good nutrition and vitamins with folic acid may reduce the risk. With the advanced technology now available, many birth defects can be detected early in pregnancy. Early obstetric care is also important.
