02/02/2010 |
Question:
should i take Cymbalta, Savella, xanax, Glipizide, Metformin, Phentermine, Neurontin, loratab together
Answer:
You should speak with either a physician or a pharmacist in person about this combination of medications.
Duloxetine (Cymbalta) and milnacipran (Savella) are very similar medications which affect both serotonin and norepinephrine receptors. In addition, phentermine has a mechanism of action involving norepinephrine. The combination of all three of these agents would not be recommended.
The alprazolam (Xanax), metformin, glipizide, gabapentin (Neurontin) and combination hydrocodone/acetaminophen (Lortab) are safe to take together assuming that you are not driving or operating heavy machinery after taking the alprazolam and hydrocodone/acetaminophen.
