Several years I`m taking Zetia, but cannot afford it anymore. Is ezetimide absolutely same drug or there are differences? Thanks.

The generic medication is not available in the United States and is only available in the brand medication Zetia®. If you are having trouble affording Zetia®, there are a couple saving avenues that may work to provide you with access to the medication.

Zetia has a savings program.  There is also a manufacturer patient assistance program that you may be eligible to qualify to get free medications.
