What I would like to know is whether: 1) the medication causes joint pain by causing inflammation in the joints? 2) If it does cause pain by creating inflammation in joints would fish oil help to alleviate some of the inflammation.

Answer:

I do not see any association between joint pain and the medications you have listed. There is some evidence that fish oil may help with inflammation and rheumatoid arthritis, so it is possible that it will help your pain.

Keep in mind that the FDA does not regulate over-the-counter supplements, so read the product labels carefully and understand that the product inside the package is not held to any national standards.
