Mouth Biting
10/19/2010 |
Question:
What causes a child to constantly chew the inside of his mouth and how can do you get him to stop?
Answer:
Some children develop a habit of sucking or biting the soft tissues in their mouths. Treatment depends on the severity of the problem and the child’s age. Have your child examined by a pediatric dentist. He or she will diagnose the problem and work with you to develop a plan to resolve it.
