Potential MRSA Infection After Augmentation

Signs of infection presented almost immediatly after surgery. Failed on 2 types of antibiotics. Current antibiotic worked almost immediatly however still signs of slight infection around incision site a week later. Could this be the wrong treatment? How can we determine if it is MRSA when there is nothing to culture and on antibiotics that could stip the bacteria from growing on culture?
