Elma D. Baron, MD is a dermatologist who practices medicine, teaches and does research. As a practicing dermatologist, Dr. Baron performs procedures utilizing laser technology that range from cosmetic to cancer treatment. Her area of interest is in sun exposure and its affect on skin and skin diseases. Dr. Baron completed her medical education at University of Philippines, College of Medicine. She has also finished five programs of post-graduate training in the United States. She is the Director of the Skin Study Center at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals of Cleveland. She is also an Assistant Professor in Dermatology and just completed four years of service as the Director of Dermatology for Primary Care Training at the VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
