Question:

I am a 19 year old male. Im worried about my testicles. The left testicle hangs lower than the right and it seems bigger and it is not situated the same way that the right testicle is. I`ve been hit in the privates before, in a fight and in basketball games. I also had a minor cut on the scrotum at one point, from an embarrassing situation. It was bleeding for a while, I applied baby oil to the spot and it finally stopped bleeding.

I was 16 when the bleeding incident happened. Im just wondering what you think, I can function sexually but I`ve worried about sperm count too.

Answer:

Normally one testicle hangs lower than the other and, not uncommonly, it is the left. If you think there is a mass in the tesitcle, I suggest you consult with a physician who can examine you. Also if you are concerned about your sperm count an analysis can be done and the physician can explain that as well.
