Question:

If LSD (acid) was used 5-10 years ago is it safe to get an epidural, spinal block and general anesthesia? Is one safer than the other because of past LSD use?

Answer:

There isn’t any physiological reason why the use of LSD such a long time ago would have an effect on the safety of anesthesia now. This isn’t a drug whose effects – other than psychological, perhaps – would persist so long.
