Zetia vs Ezetimibe05/20/2010 |
Several years I`m taking Zetia, but cannot afford it anymore. Is ezetimide absolutely same drug or there are differences? Thanks.
Thank you for contacting NetWellness. Zetia® is the trade or marketed name for the generic medication ezetimibe. The generic medication is not available in the United States and is only available in the brand medication Zetia®. If you are having trouble affording Zetia®, there are a couple saving avenues that may work to provide you with access to the medication.
Zetia has a savings program. There is also a manufacturer patient assistance program that you may be eligible to qualify to get free medications.
