hello short question. I was looking to do IVF this year in nov or dec, but this month I had a Leep done. I`m 30yr female, healthy other then this issue with no kids and no previous pregnancies. I did IVF 3 years ago but was neg grade a embryos. 22 eggs collected, 17 fertilized and 2 transfered.  What are my chances now? Blocked tubes was why I had IVF. thank you

Answer:

The LEEP should be completely healed within a few weeks, and thus is unlikely to affect your planned IVF cycle. Without knowing your complete history, it is not possible to give you an accurate estimate of your pregnancy rate with IVF. However, in most 30 year old women, the chances of having a child with IVF are above 40% per cycle.
