Solid Tumor

Question:
Hello, I have a solid tumor in the back of my right thigh. It is very very painful to the touch. Can this be a malignant tumor and if so do they usually hurt this bad? Thank you.
Answer:
All new lumps on someoneâs body need to be checked as soon as possible by a doctor. Most painful lumps are not cancer (like an infected cyst), but if that is not the case, this could be malignant and should be treated at the earliest time possible. If you do not have a personal doctor, perhaps being seen in an urgent care center would be a good start to get you to someone that could check this.
