Stair climbing10/30/2007 |
How do I transfer flights of stairs climb to miles. I started climbing the stairs at work and would like to convert it to miles.1 flight of stairs has 24 steps.
The standard rise on most stairs is 17".
24 steps x 17" = 408" per flight of stairs
1 mile = 63,360 inches
63,360/408 = 155 flights = 3,720 steps to get to a mile.
